The lesson that impressed me the most as I was growing up, the one fact that was impressed upon me by my parents more than any other, was that education is critical to a happy life. Being educated and remaining educated is perhaps the most important thing a person can do to get ahead, and staying educated is essential to remaining in front of the pack.
